Why the Rebrand

Capreeable will always be something that I am extremely proud of. I put a lot of work, thought, and growth into it. However Capreeable was never going to go far because I built the structure before building the foundation. The main reason I decided to do a rebrand was because I wanted something solid, that could withhold pressure. The best lesson that I’ve learned is it doesn’t matter what you want to grow, if the foundation is weak then it won’t be able to stand. Capreeable had some great ideas, values, standards, and hopefully one day traditions. My intention is not to throw everything away but to let go of what wasn’t meant for the brand, build a better foundation, then create systems to help it grow.

What Capreeable Taught Me

As always let's start with my favorite thing: lessons learned. In the process of creating Capreeable I learned MANY valuable lessons. I learned what having a business plan looks like and how it should feel. I noticed I am really great at hitting the pavement running however having concrete plans and systems were my weaknesses. I learned what consistency really means and looks like. I feel like everyone talks about the importance of consistency but the real lesson is learned in the body. Social Media was one of the bigger tools that I needed help learning. It's more than just content (which was already a struggle for me) it is also engagement, value, retention, quality, and more. The biggest lesson that I learned was if God gives you a word, before you move on it, build on it.

Dear Not So Secret Diary,

A lot has happened since we last talked. I have started a garden, started focusing on my health, made a huge decision and change with my daughter, started part 2 of my loc journey, and the list can quite literally go on and on. It wasn’t until this past June when I realized that this path I was walking was new. Nothing I was doing was like the old me. At some point I had put the old version of me down and created this new version. With this new book being written it was only fair that my business get an update as well. Before we go deeper into what that looks like let’s take one last look at Capreeable.

What I'm Becoming

From the introduction you can tell that I have a lot going on in my life. When you write it out like that it makes it seem like I got it going on. In actuality, I don’t..... yet. All of the systems and foundation that I took the time to create for Capree’s World I am currently building in real life. I am becoming someone who takes health seriously, who fights generational demons and create generational blessings. I am becoming someone who processes my own emotions while validating others, who’s words you can stand on, and who’s spirit you can feel when i walk into a room. I am nowhere near where I want to be but I also don’t feel like it is a place I can arrive at. It's only a place I can cultivate. I am becoming who God envisioned for me to be.
