From Overthinking to Overflowing
7/1/2025
There was a time when my thoughts held me hostage.
I would replay scenarios, question every move, and let fear sit in the driver’s seat. Overthinking made everything feel heavier than it really was. Just the idea of taking the first step would paralyze me — but once I moved, I realized it was never as hard as my mind made it out to be.
Then one day, I received a word from God:
“Think big, not overthink it.”
That simple phrase shifted something in me. It reminded me that I wasn't created to be stuck — I was designed to move, grow, and rise. Overthinking was keeping me distracted, robbing me of presence and peace. It was whispering doubts and calling it “preparation.” But now, I see the truth: most of the battles I thought I had to fight were only in my head.
I'm learning to trust the first step. To just do it.
(Lesson 7 in my book The Art of Becoming goes deep into this.)
Every time I silence the noise in my head and take action, I get stronger. Creating my business was never part of a grand plan for me — it was something I stumbled upon while searching for myself. But here I am, walking it out daily. Every post, every product, every connection — it’s all a step forward.
This mindset shift has changed everything. I’m more present as a mother. More grounded as a woman. More intentional as a daughter, sister, and business owner. I no longer give my energy to imaginary problems. My focus is clear, my actions are aligned, and my faith is leading the way.
This is what freedom feels like.
And this is just the beginning.
Your becoming begins with one step.
